Join the EYCDI Advisory Group
Are you committed to building the profile of Early Years Community Developers in BC and across the country? Are you interested in becoming more involved in the Early Years Community Development Institute (EYCDI)?
The EYCDI is recruiting members for its advisory group. The role of the group is to oversee all aspects of the Institute, developing activities to connect, inspire and inform Early Years Community Development professionals.
The group meets several times a year, both by conference call and face to face. Face to face meetings will be held in the Greater Vancouver area if travel funding is available. The initial meeting for new members will be held on the 2nd of March, 2012. We are looking for applicants from across British Columbia and Alberta who have several years experience as an Early Years Community Developer and who represent a diversity of regions, rural and urban and cultural communities. The group will consist of 10 to 12 members.
This is a two year commitment. The time required will fluctuate from month to month, but on average, you will need to be able to commit one to two days per month to EYCDI activities.
If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send a short (no more than 3 paragraphs) expression of interest, outlining your experience as an Early Years Community Developer, any specific skills you bring and a comment on why you would like to be involved. Expressions of interest must be received by February 10, 2012. Please send to: firstname.lastname@example.org
