New Forum: What's Your Story?


We know you all lead busy lives and are inundated with reports, surveys and evaluations - but we really want to hear how you create change in your community. So tell us a story - in 6 words! Visit the EYCDI website, click on Networks and then the forum, Storytelling for Community Change. In 6 words write a story about how you are creating change in your community.

Six-word stories is based on the project Six-Word Memoirs, created by the on-line storytelling magazine Smith Magazine. The concept was inspired by Ernest Hemingway, who, according to literary legend, was once challenged to write a short story in only six words. Hemingway's six-word story read: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

Here are stories to get those ideas flowing -    

Bringing people together towards social change.
 Juggling the parts, creating the whole.
Celebrating our extraordinarily rich community strengths.
Learning, leading, inspiring and serving collaboration.
