Urban Design Linked to Child's Health

(From STEPS ECMap Newsletter) - Urban planners need to do a better job in designing healthy environments for young children and families, says Dr. Nazeem Muhajarine, lead researcher for the Smart Cities, Healthy Kids study. This three-year, Saskatchewan-based study is exploring the link between urban planning and design and children’s health and activity levels. Read more here.
